Belvedere

Belvedere

An extension of Tiburon, Belvedere was formerly an island and as such is surrounded by water and breathtaking bay views. A boater’s paradise, it’s home to the San Francisco Yacht Club, private lagoons, and waters perfect for kayakers and paddle boarders. The city is made up mostly of single-family homes and approximately 100 rental units. The hilly, lush terrain is filled with winding roads that lead to breathtaking vistas. Views of San Francisco, Angel Island, the Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito, and Mt. Tamalpais make for spectacular 360 views. The homes themselves are equally lovely––some are even considered historically significant. Nearby downtown Tiburon sits at the bottom of the hill adjacent to the neighboring town, featuring some wonderful restaurants and boutiques. Bel/Tib as they’re commonly referred to, are part of the same school district.

Donna’s Belvedere Picks:

It’s fun to explore the steps that take you from one street to the next throughout the hills of Belvedere. It’s good exercise, too!

Recreation and Open Space

One of life’s simple pleasures is sitting on the bench at the Corinthian Overlook and taking in the glorious views of the Bay, punctuated by incredible views of San Francisco.
