Situated on a small peninsula across the bay from San Francisco, Tiburon boasts coastal views from most vantage points in town. Blackie’s Pasture, a large public green that sits right on the water and allows for a variety of recreation including a walking path, a bike lane, and a large open field, offers a wonderful vantage point for taking in beautiful coastal views. The Corinthian Yacht Club located in downtown Tiburon, sponsors approximately 50 days of racing per year. The downtown sits right near the Tiburon ferry landing, with service to and from San Francisco, and offers some of Marin’s best restaurants. Sam’s anchor café and bar is a great summertime waterfront spot and joins Tiburon Tavern as a local favorite dining spot. Marin staples Woodlands Market and Rustic Bakery Café have Tiburon locations downtown as well. Tiburon, Bel/Tib as they’re commonly referred to, are part of the same school district.
